Privacy Policy
Short version: your timers stay on your device. In the current version of the app, nothing is sent to anyone unless you share it yourself.
What the app stores on your device
- Your board: dish names, durations, steps, ringtones, spoken phrases, language and volume.
- A flight recorder: what happens on the device (alarms, failures, app shutdowns), to diagnose a problem. It contains your dish names, your announcements and the device model.
- Your choices about usage statistics and, if you give it, your type of venue.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes all of this from the device. Like any Android app, its settings may be included in your device's backup to your own Google account; we have no access to it.
What can leave your device, and only when you decide
- Sending the log (button in Settings) opens your device's share menu. The file goes wherever you send it, and we only receive it if you send it to us.
- Exporting your timers creates a file you share the same way, to restore your board on another tablet.
- Importing only reads the file you pick in the system file picker.
Usage statistics
On first launch, the app asks whether you agree to send us usage statistics (alarms, failures, device model, and the names of your timers and steps). You can decline, and change your mind at any time in Settings. Declining erases anything waiting to be sent.
In the current version, even if you agree, no statistics are sent: they stay on the device. Before the app starts sending any, this page will be updated to say exactly what, to which service and for how long, and you will be asked again if needed.
Text-to-speech
Spoken announcements are produced by your operating system's text-to-speech (Android or iOS). We neither receive nor record any audio.
Children
The app is made for kitchens, professional or not. It is not specifically directed at children and collects no data about them.

If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed. No data will be sent without this document saying so clearly.
